My name is Denis Aubrey. I was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. After a period of service in the RCAF, I entered the insurance industry in 1965 as a sales associate for Allstate Insurance Services. After two years, I became the District Manager for the Company. I remained with Allstate until 1972 when they vacated the Province of B.C. because of governmental changes. I re-entered the business the following year as a District Manager for the Co-operators Insurance Company with a Territory of the Okanagan, East & West Kotenays. In 1996, I decided to become an insurance Broker, which allowed me much more flexibility in offering my clients a much wider range of diversified products.
My focus and expertise is in the Group, Pension and Money products, such as: GIC’s, RRIF’s, TFSA’s, Annuities, & Guaranteed Withdrawal Plans. Times have changed and people are concerned about outliving their money. With stock markets being so volatile, clients are concerned about losing their savings.
